I was recently asked by a prospective client how many words I had translated over the course of my career.
And so I did some serious math: approximately 187500 per year over the course of 20 years yields a rather impressive number (even if I say so myself) of 3 750 000!
That’s roughly an equivalent of having translated:
– 24 Homer’s Odysseys,
– 5,5 Tolkien’s trilogies and about
– 4 King James’s Bibles,
– and then some…
